A meeting of the Russell County, Kentucky Board of Education. This was a special, called meeting on August 26, 2022. The meeting has to do with the sale of some property behind Jamestown Elementary known as “The Creek”. Six acres that has cabins and a water stream, pond and bridge. Art Works was set to purchase the six acres in order to move their non profit, arts centered educational program this day, contingent upon the board lifting a legacy stipulation of ownership from old deeds.
