A special called meeting of the Russell County, Kentucky, Board of Education on July 17, 2023… The meeting took place just prior to the regularly scheduled meeting of the board for July. It was called to discuss renovation of the old Lake Cumberland Area Technology. Also discussed was Russell County High School Science Classroom/Labs renovation. Finally discussed was the school districts debt capabilities and possible hurdles to being able to seek financing.
