Russell County native James Halsell gives a talk to the junior and seniors of RCHS on September 18, 2026 (not the 19th). From humble beginnings Haslell rose through the ranks of the U.S. Navy, having spent well over 4 years in a submarine to working in DC meeting regularly with senior level officials.
